History

LC turf was started in 1970 which in those days was cutting and supplying meadow turf as was common practice. The current owner Tim Tibbles started work for the firm in 1979 and in 1982 took over LC Turf cutting and supplying meadow turf to local customers both private and commercial. Then in 1988 we sowed our first field of cultivated lawn turf and by 1992 and since then all our turf is grown from seed on our own farms ensuring a quality product.

Turf and topsoil

Along with a quality turf for your garden lawn or landscaping project, it’s important to use a good topsoil. We recommend our LC Turf screened topsoil for use with and preparing for laying new turf.
